A Note From Our Presidents
It is not an easy environment for Michigan businesses right now, and many companies are struggling. We are proud to report that Wolverine Building Group has a very strong balance sheet, and we are poised to take advantage of the opportunities that may come our way as the economy recovers.
We remain focused on the basics of our operations, and our core values of Integrity, Enjoyment, Quality, and Improvement help guide all of our decisions. We emphasize planning, speed, quality, safety, and cleanliness for all of our projects. Quality customer service is key to our success, and all four of our divisions succeed because of satisfied customers. By understanding our customers’ industries, we can serve them better.
Wolverine Building, Inc. is busy on several projects including the Farmers Insurance campus expansion and the Kentwood District Library. Apartments and mixed-use projects in the central part of the state are keeping Fryling Wolverine busy. Wolverine Construction Management is building for Spectrum Health, the Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital, one of the world’s best children’s hospitals. Wolverine North America is working on projects for Family Fare, Red Robin, McDonald’s, and Save-a-Lot in many locations around the nation.
We are investing in technology and training for our professionals, and have recently invested in new estimating software with training. Our superintendents and project managers are equipped with smart-phones allowing them to communicate quickly and accurately. We are dedicated to developing and keeping the best and brightest construction talent in Michigan.
