Faith House
The Faith House project is an assisted living facility for developmentally disabled adults who are able to work but are not able to live on their own without some assistance. The idea to volunteer to build this house came from a conversation with sub-contractors at the Helen DeVos Children's Hospital about what a great place West Michigan is to live because of the giving attitude of the people that live here. This led to the idea to work together as construction contractors to give something meaningful back to our community.
Many of the residents that will live in this house owe their lives to the doctors at the
Children's Hospital, but there is still a large need for assisted living housing that is currently not being met. Faith House would not proceed this summer without volunteer assistance and
Wolverine is proud to offer our construction knowledge and skill to help make
this project a reality.
